# Tokenomics

$vNFTP is a voucher token that users can eventually exchange on a one-to-one basis for $NFTP, symbolizing future ownership stakes in the nftperp DAO. This voucher mechanism recognizes and incentivizes engagement within the nftperp community, laying the groundwork for collective ownership.

### Key Characteristics of $vNFTP

* **Non-Transferable**: $vNFTP cannot be traded, ensuring they remain with the original recipient until conversion.
* **Governance Involvement**: Holders of $vNFTP have voting rights within the nftperp DAO, which can be enhanced by owning Mafia Nuts NFTs.

### $NFTP Token Generation Event (TGE)

The specific timing of the TGE has not been announced. Once initiated, holders can convert their $vNFTP into actual $NFTP tokens, formalizing their stake in the governance and success of nftperp.
